Parent Network Loch Garman is an established network since 2004 and Childcare Network Loch
Garman (CNLG) undertakes the work of Parent Network on behalf of Wexford County Childcare Committee (WxCCC).
The network aims to inform and support Parents and Parent & Toddler groups on childcare issues and in the role of parenting.
Local network meetings are held where parents can meet to highlight issues and they also incorporate workshops on a variety of topics.
The Network

  Facilitates setup support to P&T groups

  Organises Parenting skills courses

  Other training/workshops as requested

  We have a Parents Page in the Network News newsletter which is
       issued three times a year.
Activity Booklet
The new updated 2009 edition of the booklet entitled “What’s on in Wexford 0-18 year olds,” A directory of activities and places to visit in county Wexford is now available.


A copy can be obtained on request from the office or you can download it in pdf format by downloading it from the home page.


Database

Parent Representation
Two parent representatives sit on the board of WxCCC to input the views and concerns of parents.
The representatives are Dolores Martin, Murrintown and Catrina Kenny, Enniscorthy.
They attend the workshops/meetings where possible to meet/connect with parents.
