PROVIDERS
CNLG offer advice, information, support and training to both private and community pre-school
providers.
We hold local network meetings three times a year in various locations throughout the county.

These meetings serve as a platform to meet and share ideas with other providers and discuss any
issues of concern. They usually incorporate a speaker or workshop and are attended by the provider
representatives on Wexford County Childcare Committee.
Private Provider Representative : Martina Cardiff, Wexford/Hiilary Lantos, Gorey

Community Provider : Louise Hill, Gorey.

Training in First Aid, Manual Handling, Child Protection and various other topics is ongoing.

Pre-school Provider Lists
Lists of Providers of childcare facilities in the Gorey, Wexford, Enniscorthy and New Ross areas who have been approved by the HSE are available from the office.


Certified First Aid Courses.
Manual Handling.
Food Hygiene.
Health & Safety and other courses as requested are ongoing. Check training schedule for more information.
Child Protection
The Keeping Safe Training Programme which is run in conjunction with the Health Service Executive will be arranged as the need arises.


Annual Seminar
CNLG organize an annual Seminar in conjunction with the HSE which highlights issues of interest to Pre school providers, parents and all who work in the area of education and development of young children. Look out for details of our next event which is usually held during the Easter break.


Support
The Childcare co-ordinator is available to all providers to offer advice, access to information, networking and will organize training as requested.
She can be contacted by telephone, email or call into the office. She is also available  to visit your centre.


Library
The resource library which is situated in the Reception area of 7 Castle Hill is well stocked with books of interest to all in childcare and has some of special interest to students, special needs and men in childcare.  Check Publications for a list of available books.
